With our dedicated mobile veterinarian, we provide veterinary care to your animals on site including examinations and routine preventative treatments. DeSoto Veterinary is one of the only animal hospitals in Grand Cane, Louisiana providing large animal emergency care!

What are your hours?

Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday*: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Sunday: Closed

*Our office will be closed on the first Saturday of each month.

Short notice hour changes will always be posted to our Facebook.

What types of pets do you see?

We see dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs, cows, poultry, and pocket pets (at the doctor’s discretion).

Do you see emergencies?

We see emergencies but prefer a call ahead of time to allow us to prepare as best we can or to determine if the patient may need to be transferred if they have needs we are unable to meet. Our doctor also responds to after-hours emergencies for current clients with large (farm) animals. All after-hours small pet emergencies are referred to the Animal Emergency Clinic in Shreveport.
